Skinvisible, Inc. announced that its licensee Cross Global Inc. (“CGI”), dba as Sunless Beauty will debut this week on QVC, America’s premier television shopping channel, reaching more than 90 million homes across the United States. Initially Solerra will launch its successful UV free sunless tanning mitt for face and body. Other Solerra suncare products will follow including a sunless tanning lotion, moisturizing cream and a sunscreen product with SPF 30. Solerra’s product line is formulated with Skinvisible’s patented delivery system; Invisicare. Invisicare enhances the sunless tanning product by minimizing streaking upon application and providing a tan that resists fading. Additionally, Invisicare intensifies the moisturizing effect, leaving the skin softer and smoother. “This is a significant marketing achievement on the part of Sunless Beauty,” said Terry Howlett, President of Skinvisible, Inc. “The broad audience exposure provided by this at home shopping network is invaluable. Revenue for Skinvisible is received from both the Invisicare sales and royalties.” The launch follows Solerra’s product debut at the Academy Awards this year. Company executives had the opportunity to distribute the Solerra product line to actors and actresses present at the Awards at a post Oscar party. There was a high level of interest generated from the Hollywood community at this event according to company president Angie Trelstad. Sunless Beauty’s plan is to also sell the Solerra products nationally through high end retail beauty stores in the U.S. and Canada in 2007 and is seeking distributors for Europe and Australia.
